Mexico Rocks is increasingly becoming a tourist snorkeling destination in Belize. As part of the Marine Reserve, Mexico Rock is home to an abundant species of creatures and coral formations that are in their own way different as compared to other snorkeling destinations in Ambergris Caye, Belize.
Mexico Rocks serves as a breeding ground for juvenile fish and is home to over 30 species of fish. With huge boulders of coral formations it easily provide shelter for these juvenile fish and specially apiny lobsters and eels. Among the many corals the most abundant and notable corals are the Elkhorns, Brain Coral & Staghorns. Your eyes are in for a treat.
