Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley is approximately 4 miles south of San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye. It is the single most popular day trip from San Pedro, perfect for a quick family snorkeling trip. Thousands of large and small fish live in this magnificent reserve. The Belize reef system was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO several years ago. Hol Chan is safe for beginners, and breathtaking for advanced divers.

When you get there you will be welcomed by dozens of nurse sharks surrounding the boat. As you jump into the water with the snorkel, mask, life jacket and fins you will experience the activities of these magnificent creatures up close and personal. You will be guided by your designated tour guide all along the tour. You will be swimming over beautiful coral formations and swimming along numerous fishes. Apart from the Nurse Sharks you can encounter seat turtles and stingrays.
